Bethesda has tonight announced its decision to delay Starfield and Redfall to the first half of 2023.
The announcement was made via social media (see below), with the company stating that both Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) and Arkane Austin (Redfall) “have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them.”

While Redfall was only tentatively scheduled for 2022, Starfield was set to release on November 11, 2022, but now players will have to wait longer to get their hands on these titles.
Hopefully we see more of both at June’s Xbox + Bethesda’s Games Showcase and learn more about what the companies have instore for the back half of the year.
