Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Has Been Revealed Alongside A November Release Date

Not the original, not a remake, a new game

Activision has officially revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as this year’s entry into the long-running franchise, releasing on November 10.

The reveal came in the way of a short teaser trailer that states that “the ultimate threat awaits.” Save for flashes of familiar faces from the Modern Warfare series and some dramatic voice lines from everyone’s favourite walking moustache, Captain Price, the teaser doesn’t give much away. While we do get a release date of November 10, there are no confirmed platforms, though it would be safe to assume the game will drop on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Modern Warfare 3 will, unsurprisingly, be a follow-up to 2022’s Modern Warfare 2. While sharing the same name, characters and certain plot points as the original trilogy, so far, these not-quite-remakes have followed their own narrative.
