Cyberpunk 2077’s Deep Dive Trailer Shows Off Distinctly Different Playstyles

I’m Cyberpumped

It’s hard to believe that we’re starting to close in on the release CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sci-fi masterwork, Cyberpunk 2077. It’s also just as hard to believe the world still hasn’t seen all that much of the game. In an age of massive pre-release hype campaigns and media preview trails it’s kind of refreshing to see a developer keep their cards so close to their chests. That said, it’s equally nice to get a glimpse at such a highly anticipated game whenever we can.

To that end, I give you the following, 15-minute gameplay trailer from Cyberpunk 2077, that shows off a mid-game sequence where main character V gets themselves caught up in the middle of a gang war in Night City. The trailer shows off the scenario being played one of two ways, depending on the character’s chosen class. Be warned that it does take place a fair way into the game and may be considered spoiler territory:

Prefer your ‘Deep Dives’ even deeper? Check out an extended version below that includes a Q&A with members of the development team — Miles Tost (Senior Level Designer), Paweł Sasko (Lead Quest Designer), and Philipp Weber (Quest Design Coordinator):

Cyberpunk 2077 releases April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Stick with us at WellPlayed for more as it comes.
