Announced during The Game Awards in 2019, we haven’t heard much from Dark Alliance since. The co-op action RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe got a kick-arse cinematic trailer that set the tone, but we’ve been patiently waiting for a better look at what the finished product will be.
That patience has now paid off, as we have a fresh gameplay trailer, filled with axes, arrows and action. We get a decent look at combat, as the team of three takes on beholders, wraiths, frost giants and other beasties to the sweet sounds of Ozzy Ozbourne. The whole trailer has a decidedly goofy tone to it, with a troll flipping off the dwarf that threw him into a pit of lava as an example. Alongside the gameplay, it was also announced that Dark Alliance will be making its way to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S and PC on June 22. 2021.
