Capcom has announced that the newly-announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 19.
Following the game’s recent announcement, Capcom has dropped more info about the upcoming re-release of the ever-popular zombie action title during this morning’s Capcom Next event. Bordering on a full-blown remake, according to Director Ryosuke Muari, this latest release brings with it enhanced visuals, including new character models, improved lighting, and 4K resolution running at 60fps, as well as tweaks to gameplay, such as the ability to move while aiming.
The claim from Muari might sound like hyperbole, but watching the new trailer supports what he’s saying. Granted that it’s seen various updates and re-releases, but for a game that originally came out in 2006 to look as good as this is pretty impressive, so fans will likely be pretty happy to see old Frank West back in action again…again.
