Deathloop, the once PS5 console exclusive from Microsoft-owned developer Arkane Studios will launch on Xbox and PC Games Pass on September 20.
The news was announced during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show presentation, where it was also revealed that the game will launch alongside the GoldenLoop update, which will add new weapons and enemies, as well as a new ending for players to unlock and cross-platform support for the game’s multiplayer. Best of all, the GoldenLoop update will be free for all platforms.
We reviewed Deathloop when it first released on PS5 in September last year, with WellPlayed’s Kieran Stockton saying that “Deathloop takes Arkane’s well known brand of first-person action stealth and artfully melds it into a time-bending multi-assassination power fantasy.” If that doesn’t sell you on the game, I don’t know what will.
