Larian Studios’ latest turn-based RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition, was already making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in August but now it has been revealed that through Xbox Game Preview, people will be able to play the game early starting on May 16 (tomorrow), sort of. If you want to play more than three hours you’ll need to purchase which will grant you access to the entire first act which is estimated to have around 20 hours of adventuring within it. After this, you can continue with the same save file when the full game is released.

“We’ve done a lot work since launch to make DIVINITY®: ORIGINAL SIN 2 even better, and Xbox Game Preview will let us discover how we can improve it even further. Our hope is that with the feedback we’ll collect, D:OS 2 – Definitive Edition will become one of the best RPG experiences available across the platforms. The changes and additions in the Definitive Edition are about 45 pages long, and all owners of Divinity: Original Sin will also benefit from these.” – Swen Vincke, Founder of Larian Studios
If you would like to find out more about D:OS2 – Definitive Edition on Xbox Game Preview, tune in to Inside Xbox on May 18 8:30am.
