Elden Ring’s Starting Classes Have Been Revealed

You will not be deprived of choices

In the lead up to the Closed Network Test this weekend, FromSoftware has unveiled what the new starting classes will be for their upcoming action RPG, Elden Ring. Starting classes have never really meant much for the previous Soulsborne games, as your stat investment has never been restricted by anything. In some cases, however, they can be viewed as a difficulty selection for the earlier areas of each game, as some classes start out with strong gear/stat distribution and others can leave a little to be desired. Their exact stat distribution is unknown, but the currently revealed starting classes are as follows, with what their initial stat focus could potentially be based off how they look:

  • Knight – Strength/Vigor/Endurance
  • Enchanted Knight – Intelligence/Mind/Vigor
  • Prophet – Stength/Vigor/Faith
  • Champion – Strength/Endurance/Vigor
  • Blood Wolf – Dexterity/Endurance/Strength

Check out the class previews in the tweet below

There is probably a good chance that there are more classes to be revealed given that the number of starting classes has always ranged from eight to ten but it all remains to be seen.
