Ubisoft has today released the launch trailer for Far Cry New Dawn, the upcoming Far Cry release that is a narrative sequel to 2018’s Far Cry 5.
The roughly 90 second trailer focuses on the primary antagonists of Far Cry New Dawn Mickey and Lou, known throughout Hope County as “The Twins”. While the apocalypse has been a rough time for many, the Twins make reference to the fact that they’ve loved every second of it, as they have cultivated a ruthless band of thugs that are willing to do anything for them.
Much like the previously released Far Cry New Dawn trailers, this trailer emphasises just how maniacal Mickey and Lou are, highlighting how everything is seemingly just fun and games for them in this post-apocalyptic world.
It’s not all doom and gloom however, as we get to feast our eyes upon the chaos and destruction that we can expect to enact on the Highwaymen. Alongside some badass action shots, we get to see the weaponry that’ll be available to us, ranging from wire-clad baseball bats to a saw blade launcher with incendiary rounds. We even get a peek at some of the Guns and Fangs for Hire, such as Pastor Jerome, and the ever reliable wild boar Horatio. The trailer is pretty epic, and thankfully, everyone will be able to see exactly what post-apocalyptic Hope County has to offer in just a days time.
Far Cry New Dawn releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15th . Our review for the game will drop later tonight, in the meantime however, you can watch the launch trailer below:
