Do you like flashy animations and luscious hair? Square Enix and Naoki Yoshida [Yoshi-P] have you covered today with a new trailer for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XVI (not to be confused with Final Fantasy XIV, Yoshi-P’s other game). The trailer should probably come with a photosensitivity warning as there are a lot of flashing lights, but moving past that we get to see a lot of XVI’s scale put into action, as well as an appearance from Shiva and her icy powers.

A lot happens at an incredible pace in this trailer, so those who like action will love this cinematic trailer. Final Fantasy XVI is set to release exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on June 6, 2023, with other platforms to receive the game no earlier than December 31, 2023 (the exact release date for other platforms is not confirmed).
