Generation Zero Release Date Revealed

Kill Mechs in March

Avalanche Studios has today revealed that their upcoming open world action game Generation Zero will be releasing on March 26th, meaning we only have a couple months left to wait until we can take the fight to the robotic threat in 1980’s Sweden.

Generation Zero sees yourself and 3 of your friends (if you decide not to be a lone wolf) arrive home from an island vacation to the mainland of Sweden. Upon return, it becomes apparent that your isolated and once serene homeland has been overrun by a horde of deadly machines, leaving you no choice but to try and fight back, whilst trying to uncover exactly what has happened.

The game looks great, with solid first person shooting and an interesting crafting system that sees you scavenge from the machines you’ve taken down in order to amass and craft high tech weaponry. The fact that you can play the entire game alone or seamlessly with friends is also intriguing, with the game looking excellent to play in either scenario.

Generation Zero releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 26th. In the meantime, you can watch the gameplay trailer below:
