Bethesda and Microsoft have announced that Ghostwire: Tokyo will release on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Xbox Game Pass on April 12.
Previously a PlayStation console exclusive, the supernatural first-person action game will soon be making its way to Xbox alongside the free Spider’s Thread update. This free update will feature a new middle school area to explore, new Quick dash and Charge Rush attacks, quality of life improvements and, most importantly, the new Spider’s Thread game mode that adds new story content to the game.
Face off against supernatural threats in this atmospheric, open-world action adventure.

In our review, we said “Despite its awkward pacing, one-note combat and tedious open-world collectible hunting, Ghostwire: Tokyo is as unique and atmospheric as they come. Side-stepping its horror roots, Tango Gameworks delves into the depths of Japanese folklore and urban myth through the lens of the modern world, and the results are as refreshingly charming as they are routinely unnerving.” We gave Ghostwire: Tokyo a 7.5.
