Halo: Reach only released as part of The Master Chief Collection in December for both the Xbox One and Windows PC and its PC community has been hard at workinf creating a variety of mods for you to play with. One such example is Halo: Reach RTC. While not exactly a mod and instead a ReShade preset, it’s still quite a sight to behold and brings Nvidia’s RTX selling point to everyone on the PC platform.

Available to download from Nexus Mods,  Halo: Reach RTX aims to breathe new life into the remastered 2010 shooter through a number of enhancement. Use of tools like SSAO and lightrays/god rays has allowed creator, Ultracasio, to give Halo: Reach a slick new lighting job.

This all comes at (roughly) the same time as 343 Industries’ sneaky release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on PC, so not only are people getting more Halo on PC but what is there currently can look even better!

Admittedly, the ReShade preset can be pretty taxing on your performance so be wary when installing it. According to Ultracasio you may not be able to maintain a 60+ FPS average, so you’re getting the true RTX experience without having to spend an insane amount of money!

Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary are available as a part of The Master Chief Collection on PC via the Windows Store and Steam, with more games to come later.
