Hello August, lay off with the terrible weather, would you please? No? Alright then, you’ve twisted my arm, I’ll stay indoors and play games instead, fine. The last Game Pass update gave us a solid mix of popular indie titles, a trend that looks to be continuing into the eighth month of the year. As announced on Xbox Wire, five games are being added to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of August.
Here are all of the games being added to Xbox Game Pass in August 2023:
August 3
- A Short Hike (Console, PC, Cloud)
August 8
- Broforce Forever (Console, PC, Cloud)
August 9
- Limbo (Console, PC, Cloud)
August 10
- Airborne Kingdom (Console, PC, Cloud)
August 15
- Everspace 2 (Console, Cloud)
We need to balance the books, so a few of our friends need to take off. Here are all of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August:
August 15
- Death Stranding (PC)
- Edge of Eternity (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Midnight Fight Express (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Total War: Warhammer III (PC)
Admitting that you’ve never heard of a game is a bit of a gaming journalist sin, but I’m happy to confess. Despite releasing back in 2019, this is the first time I’ve set eyes on A Short Hike, and I’m immediately drawn to it. Do I want to play as a cute little bird going on a wholesome adventure? You bet I do.
Which of these titles will you be playing? What would you like to see added later in the month? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
