Indie World Livestream: Lots Of Timed Exclusive Indies And Exit The Gungeon Out Today

Indies galore

Super bright and early this morning, Nintendo live-streamed an Indie World presentation, bringing us the latest indie news and potentially lending some truth to their possibly being a normal Nintendo Direct next week. Here’s a recap of the presentation:

Blue Fire (Graffiti Games) – 3D platformer in a strange place called the void. Timed console exclusive coming in summer.

Baldo (Naps Team) – Anime art-style RPG with dungeons and more. A timed console exclusive arriving this summer.

I Am Dead (Hollow Ponds/Richard Hogg) – A puzzle game set in a peaceful seaside town with a colourful art-style. You unexpectedly play as a dead museum owner who can still impact the world. Timed console exclusive releasing in 2020.

Bio-Interstellar Ark – Bark (Tic Tack Games) – 2D side-scrolling shooter with critter companions and couch co-op. A timed console exclusive launching in late 2020.

Cyanide and Happiness – Freakpocalyse (Explosm Games) – Explore, solve puzzles and try to survive the end of the world with classic Cyanide and Happiness art. Timed console exclusive this summer.

Summer in Mara (Chibig) – Created from a successful Kickstarter, this game has you making friends, exploring your island and the seas and farming. A beautiful art style that harks back to the Windwaker. Another timed console exclusive coming spring 2020.

Quantum League (Nimble Giant Entertainment) – Your favourite sci-fi movie mixed with a competitive FPS featuring 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 battles. You and your clones kill each other after rounds of time paradoxes. Coming late in 2020.

The Good Life (White Owls) – Debt repayment RPG that takes place in a British town. At night everyone turns into a dog or cat and there’s been a murder?! The main form of transport is sheep! Releasing in 2020.

The Last Campfire (Hello Games) – A beautiful game with Ori vibes following a little ember in a puzzle-solving RPG/Dungeon crawler. Launches on Nintendo Switch summer 2020.

PixelJunk Eden 2 (Q-Games Ltd.) – Stages generate in real-time based on your actions and you guide a little creature to save others of your kind. A district sensory experience when it releases this summer.

Faeria (Abrakam SA) – A video game version of the card game and comes with four free (for a limited time) cosmetic packs. March 2020.

Eldest Souls (Fallen Flag Studios) – Boss rush battler. Timed console exclusive coming in summer 2020.

We also had quick glimpses at Blair Witch (Bloober Team/ Lions Gate) Summer 2020, Ghost of a Tale (Plug in Digital) Spring 2020, Sky (thatgamecompany, inc) Summer 2020, Sky Racket (Double Dash Studios) Available later today!, Superliminal (Pillow Castle) Summer 2020, Wingspan (Monster Couch) Spring 2020, Dicey Dungeons (Distractionware Limited) 2020, Bounty Battle (Dark Screen Games, Merge Games Limited), Summer 2020, and finally Moving Out (SMG Studio/ DevM Games) releasing very soon on April 28 2020.

One more thing: The Gungeon still exists but this time you must get out! Exit the Gungeon (Dodge Roll and Singlecore) by Devolver Digital is coming to Nintendo Switch as a timed console exclusive later today!
