JoJo’s (Officially) Confirmed For Jump Force With (Questionable) New Screenshots

JoJo’s Bizzare Advertisement

Bandai Namco have officially announced that Jotaro Kujo and Dio will be joining the roster for their upcoming anime fighter, Jump Force.

This is definitely a call for celebration for all JoJo’s Blizzard Adventure fans, but I can’t help but be confused by the choice of the initial screenshots released by Bandai.

Odd camera angles, ridiculous amounts of effects and flair making some of the characters and their “Stands” almost indistinguishable and character moments that don’t really look to show off the new arrivals in all their glory tarnish (if only a little) an announcement that a lot of fans were waiting for.

A few hours after releasing the above photos, Bandai followed up with another post showing off Jotaro with a lot more clarity and glamour.

Overall, I’m grateful that one of my top five picks made it into the game but I kinda feel that JoJo’s deserved a truely stylised announcement in tone with the source material, but hey, maybe that’s just me being picky.

Jump Force releases February 15 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
