Developer Tripwire Studio has announced Killing Floor 3, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The third instalment in the action-horror series was revealed with a short and gory trailer during this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live. Watching as a Zed, the series’ biogenetically engineered enemy, goes from a fetus to a horrific amalgamation of flesh and steel, we get a sense that the trademark brutality that the Killing Floor games are known for is alive and well in this sequel.
A short synopsis can also be found on the game’s website: “It’s 2091. Megacorporation Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bioengineered monstrosities called “Zeds.” Now, only the rebel group Nightfall stands between these infernal creations and the future of humanity.”
