Let Them Come: Onslaught Is A Sci-Fi Auto-Battler With A Roguelite Twist

Alien Survivor

Tuatara Games have announced their newest project, Let Them Come: Onslaught, coming to Steam Early Access in early 2024.

The Vancouver-based VFX studio is primarily known for its collaborative work with studios such as Epic Games, but it has also developed several games, including Shoot ’em Up, Let Them Come.

Set in the same universe, Onslaught is an auto-battler that will have players embodying a sole surviving space soldier on a hostile alien planet. Wandering the volatile environment, endless waves of creatures will set upon players, but they won’t go into the unknown unarmed. Much like the hugely popular Vampire Survivor, players will equip a range of weapons, from flamethrowers to laser beams, that will fire at enemies without manually aiming or firing. It’s up to the player to dodge and weave through the hordes and stay alive as long as possible.

Inevitably, you will fall, but a light roguelite system will allow you to spend collected currency to unlock permanent buffs, making you more powerful for subsequent runs.
