Lies of P, the Soulslike action-RPG which takes heavy inspiration from Pinnochio, has just had an alpha gameplay teaser trailer drop and it’s looking great! It appears to have taken notes from the design of FromSoftware’s critically acclaimed Bloodborne, which is never a bad thing. From atmosphere, to world design, and pacing — it all looks fantastic.
Obviously it’s not just a Bloodborne ripoff and it shows some of its more unique elements, like the creepy dolls that have very jagged movements, and the grapple which allows you to pull enemies towards you (even across gaps) so you can close the distance and go in for the kill.
