Linksys Announce New Gaming Router Designed For Xbox One

New WRT23BX Might Just Be What Console Gamers Have Been Looking For

Linksys, who happen to be celebrating their thirty year anniversary, have today announced that the newest addition to the WRT product series will be The Linksys Gaming Router designed for Xbox One – WRT32XB.

The new WRT Gaming Router, designed for the Xbox One family of devices, offers gamers a router that is optimised for high-speed gaming when using the Xbox One. This is made possible through the Killer Prioritisation Engine (KPE), which will auto-detect any Xbox One, including the Xbox One S and Xbox One X models, and prioritise gaming packets automatically to provide gamers with the best online gaming experience.

The KPE identifies, prioritises, and accelerates Xbox gaming network traffic from any Xbox One console above all other devices in the home, to deliver lower ping times and optimise the online gaming experience. On top of this, the KPE protects Xbox gamers from extreme lag spikes at the router level, and reduces peak ping by up to 65%! This means that superior reaction times, even during the most intense gaming scenarios, will be delivered to gamers consistently.

For a limited time, upon the product’s launch, those who purchase the WRT32XB will receive a three-month membership to the Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost. For those unaware, the Xbox Game Pass provides gamers with unlimited access to over one hundred Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, including exclusives such as Halo, and Fable.

For those who are more interested in the technical side of the product, take a look at the below specifications:
