Gamious and Whitehorn Games have announced that their interactive narrative game Lake will release on Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 1.
Set in 1986 in Providence Oak, you play as Meredith Weiss, who has returned to her hometown from her big city job to cover for her dad, who is the town’s mail carrier, for two weeks.
During those two weeks you’ll have free reign over how Meredith spends her time, who to make friends with and whether the big city life is all it’s cracked up to be.
Developer Gamiouos has said that “there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers or endings, simply what you want to happen.”
It looks like a relaxing time and I am keen take that big mail truck for a spin.
If you don’t have an Xbox Series X|S or PC, don’t stress because Lake will be coming to other platforms at a later date.
