What a thrill! Revealed during today’s PlayStation Showcase event, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake and the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 are both coming to the PlayStation 5. After what feels like a dog’s age of speculation and whispering, the remake of the classic spy thriller game was shown off with a very fancy but ultimately shy cinematic trailer. In it, we see the natural cycle of life and violence in the gorgeously rendered jungle before cutting to the gruff man himself as the iconic song rings out. Not much to go on! But it sure looks nice.
It also wrapped up with a smash cut to the reveal of the Master Collection, the first volume to be released later this year and will see the first three Metal Gear Solid games finally arrive on the PlayStation 5.
