Metro Exodus Gamescom Trailer Released

2036 Moscow is spooky

Deep Silver and 4A have debuted a new Metro Exodus gameplay trailer ahead of Gamescom 2018, which kicked off eariler today.

Based on the popular book series by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus is a narrative heavy first-person shooter that merges combat, stealth and survival horror, which can be seen in this gameplay trailer.

The short gameplay trailer doesn’t show a great deal, but what it does show is that the ruins of 2036 post-apocalyptic Moscow look beautiful during the day, and downright horrific at night. The trailer shows off the frights of the night, with mutated beasts and paranormal horrors seemingly all around you.

Pre-orders are live across all major retailers, with different pre-order bonuses on offer for each platform. Pre-ordering on Xbox One will net you a copy of Metro 2033 Redux, the first game in the Metro series. Pre-ordering on PlayStation 4 gets you a Dynamic Theme, while the PC version comes with a digital art book and the Metro Exodus OST. No in-game content is being barred behind pre-orders which is a breath of fresh air, ensuring fans won’t miss out on any content if they decide to wait before buying the game.

Metro Exodus releases on 22nd February 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can watch the Gamescom 2018 Trailer below:
