Deep Silver and 4A have debuted a new Metro Exodus gameplay trailer ahead of Gamescom 2018, which kicked off eariler today.
Based on the popular book series by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus is a narrative heavy first-person shooter that merges combat, stealth and survival horror, which can be seen in this gameplay trailer.
The short gameplay trailer doesn’t show a great deal, but what it does show is that the ruins of 2036 post-apocalyptic Moscow look beautiful during the day, and downright horrific at night. The trailer shows off the frights of the night, with mutated beasts and paranormal horrors seemingly all around you.
Pre-orders are live across all major retailers, with different pre-order bonuses on offer for each platform. Pre-ordering on Xbox One will net you a copy of Metro 2033 Redux, the first game in the Metro series.
