Developer Carl Burton has revealed Mirria, a casual spot-the-difference puzzle game coming to PC.
Announced during this morning’s Day of the Devs showcase, Mirria is an atmospheric puzzle title that invites players to unwind, relax, and work through a variety of beautiful, surreal puzzle scapes. Each depicts a different landscape floating in an empty vacuum, with an exact mirror image reflected beneath. Well, it’s almost an exact mirror image, albeit with a few critical changes that the player will need to find by interacting with lights, moving objects, and rotating the environment.
The reveal trailer showcases a collection of these puzzles, including a dimly lit diner, a home on stilts, and an industrial worksite, among others. Gameplay consists of changing perspective and interacting with various elements within the puzzle, all of which are reflected in both scenes. While a spot-the-difference game doesn’t sound like a barn burner on paper, Mirria’s artistic and calm approach has made sure it sits firmly on my Steam wishlist.
