Video game and associated collectibles releases have historically been very wonky in Australia, I know many times when I was growing up I would wonder if we would also be getting what the rest of the world did.
The Amiibo associated with Monster Hunter Rise kept me wondering for quite a while as no physical retailers put up a local listing or had any idea whether they would be available locally. A few months ago Nintendo Australia cleared up the confusion by posting on social media stating that the Amiibo would be available through their new Australian branch of the My Nintendo Store from which you can pick up merchandise and redeem your platinum points for goodies.
The Amiibo went live for pre-order this morning and will be shipping on March 26. You can find them here. There is a limit of two per My Nintendo account per Amiibo. The Palamute and Palico Amiibo’s are $29.95 and Magnamalo is $34.95. Free shipping is available for orders over $80 so may be a good opportunity to grab things if anything takes your fancy. There is no word on how limited the stock is but if you want them order them now to ensure your happiness.
The Amiibo give you layered armor sets within Monster Hunter Rise which releases exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 26.
