Monster Hunter Rise’s Second Capcom Collab Is An Epic Okami Crossover

Some awesome free DLC

Capcom teased in their last Monster Hunter presentation that Monster Hunter Rise would be getting more DLC including a number of ‘Capcom Collabs’. The first of which was a crossover with Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin which added a cute palico-layered armour costume.

For the second collaboration, Capcom is venturing into a different franchise entirely. In an epic crossover with Okami, we are getting an amazing looking piece of layered armour for your palamute of Amaterasu. It’s effectively what Amaterasu would look like in HD without Okami’s classic art style. The layered armour is an event quest reward and will go live on July 30.

The trailer also shows that there will be three additional Capcom Collabs, one in August and two in spring. There will be new event quests everywhere according to the DLC roadmap. Check out the sweet trailer below for yourself.

I think the best pupper just got even more awesome, wouldn’t you agree?
