More Titles Are Heading To Xbox Game Pass In August 2021

I’ll be counting the minutes until they go live

So far this month we’ve had Microsoft Flight Simulator, Curse of the Dead Gods, Hades and plenty more join Xbox Game Pass, so it’s safe to say that August has been a good time to be a subscriber. The month isn’t over yet and there are more games to come, with Xbox Wire announcing another wave of titles hitting the service. Let’s have a browse at what we can all look forward to:

Today (August 18)

  • Humankind (PC)
  • Need for Speed Heat (Cloud)
  • Star Wars Battlefront II (Cloud)
  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Cloud)

August 19

  • Recompile (Xbox Series X/S/PC/Cloud)
  • Train Sim World (Console/PC/Cloud)
  • Twelve Minutes (Console/PC/Cloud)

August 25

  • Psychonauts 2 (Console/PC/Cloud)

August 26

  • Myst (Console/PC/Cloud)

The news that comes with each other these updates is that there are a number of games leaving Game Pass, though this month there’s only a handful. Here are all of the titles leaving the service in August:

August 31

  • Blair Witch (Console/Cloud/PC)
  • Double Kick Heroes (Console/Cloud/PC)
  • NBA 2K21 (Console/Cloud)
  • Stranger Things 3: The Game (Console/Cloud/PC)

Personally, Twelve Minutes is the standout here, especially after the haunting new trailer that was recently released.
