Mortal Kombat 1’s First Round Of DLC Characters Seems To Have Leaked Online

Kould this be true?

A listing on Amazon Italy has seemingly leaked the list of characters included in the first Kombat Pack DLC for the newly revealed Mortal Kombat 1.

Leaking only a day after MK1 was revealed, the product listing for the game’s Premium Edition on Amazon Italy (which has now been amended) gave more detail than it likely should have. Listed in the edition’s description, alongside mentions of an early-access period and premium currency, was a list of six playable fighters and five Kameo fighters. For those unaware, the Kameo fighters will be used as assists, jumping into combat to lend a hand/fist when prompted.

Now, as always, you shouldn’t take this leak as the absolute truth, but it’s equally exciting and puzzling if the list is accurate. Firstly, we have some BIG guest characters and a Kameo fighter that might be an extra but should really be a leading man.

Here are the leaked fighters included in the first Kombat Pack:

Playable fighters

  • Quan Chi
  • Omni Man
  • Ermac
  • Peacemaker
  • Takeda
  • Homelander

Kameo fighters

  • Tremor
  • Johnny Cage
  • Khameleon
  • Mavado
  • Ferra

Alright, so there’s a bit to unpack here. Firstly, the three guest fighters in Omni Man from Invisible, Homelander from The Boys and Peacemaker from his own show and The Suicide Squad are massive heavy hitters that would all fit in exceptionally well into MK, with their more violent tendencies. The odd one here is Johnny Cage being listed as a Kameo fighter. This could mean that the movie star isn’t going to be playable, which would be a sin, or that characters can be both playable and Kameos. Either way, we’ll need to wait to find out.
