Warner Bros. has announced three new characters that will be joining the MultiVersus roster: LeBron James, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith (from Rick and Morty).
Announced at a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, LeBron (dropping the James) will be the first to join the roster when the open beta goes live on July 26. In his animated form from Space Jam: A New Legacy, LeBron is a bruiser class that likes to get up close and personal, but can also lay the smackdown from a distance by using his basketball.
Though we don’t have as much info on the intergalactic grandpa-grandson duo, it has been confirmed that Morty will be added to the game at the start of season one on August 9, with Rick joining him at a later date during season one. The MultiVersus website does shed some light on how they might play, with Morty being listed as a bruiser and Rick being a mage/ranged character.

If you’re keen to jump in and give MultiVersus a go, the early access for the open beta is live now. There are a few ways to join the early access period, including buying a founders pack, or you can wait until the beta opens up to everyone on July 26.
