Along with opening pre-orders today for both the Xbox Series X and Series X, Microsoft has officially detailed and opened pre-orders for some of the accessories that will launch alongside the new consoles.
We’ve all seen the new Series S|X controllers before, but Xbox has now given us the best look yet – and announced some new colourways and SKUs. We’ve seen the Carbon Black and Robot White controllers already, but now we have Shock Blue to add to the mix and it honestly looks pretty sexy. Also announced are two packs for PC players that contain either the Carbon Black controller and a wireless PC adapter or the Carbon Black controller and a USB-C cable.
The Carbon Black and Robot White Xbox Wireless Controllers will retail for $89.95 RRP while the Shock Blue will retail for $94.95 RRP.
Sticking with their longstanding batteries-not-included strategy, Microsoft has also detailed their charging solution for the new Xbox Wireless Controllers, offering a similar battery pack to what we’re used to, albeit now with a USB-C cable to suit the ports in the new pads. The Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable will retail for $29.95 RRP.
