Nicolas Cage Is Coming To Dead By Daylight To Take Your Face Off

…what?

Developer Behaviour Interactive has announced that acclaimed actor Nicolas Cage will be added to the multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight.

A short teaser trailer was dropped on the Dead by Daylight Twitter account, showing the Oscar-winning emerging from fog on a destroyed movie set. The teaser promises a “performance of a lifetime,” with more details coming on July 5.

This…is amazing. For those unaware, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric online multiplayer horror game where a group of survivors try to escape from a player-controlled monster/killer/threat. Since the game’s release in 2016, we’ve seen heaps of crossovers and guest characters from Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head and Resident Evil’s Albert Wesker to Michael Myers from Halloween and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

So, while fans of the game are used to seeing familiar faces join the roster, there hasn’t been an inclusion with such massive talent as Nic Cage. The best part in all of this is that there’s no confirmation as to if the Con Air star is a survivor or a killer. Better still, Cage’s public persona and recent roles could have him easily filling either role.
