Now You Can Sound Like A Robot Or Demon On Any Yeti Mic

Beep your best boop

Blue Microphones and Logitech (long time kings of the affordable USB microphone racket) have announced that the incredible voice modulation tools available to their premium microphone range, will now be available for their entire range of Blue Yeti, Yeti X, and Yeti Nano microphones.

The Yeti range of microphones are just gorgeous

Initially the VO!CE tools were made available within the Logitech G HUB software, and were immediately available when managing options for the Yeti X and Yeti X World of Warcraft edition microphones. Frustratingly the G HUB software option would recognise other Logitech Yeti microphones and provide management options, but the unique voice altering tools would not appear – confusing many as they did appear to be entirely software driven.

This is fantastic for existing Yeti owners who may not yet feel ready to shell out for an upgrade – they are resilient and exceptionally well made microphones, so their lasting power far outweighs any compulsive need to upgrade out of habit.

A big draw to the voice modulation options is the ability to browse a list of user submitted voice profiles, using a super basic keyword search to find the ideal booming monster voice to enhance your next Discord Dungeons & Dragons session – or just to annoy your mates during an intense World of Warcraft raid.

Sounding like a Dalek is funny enough, but the meme potential of a General Grievous voice alone is worth a look

It does appear that the World of Warcraft voice modulation profiles that came with the Yeti X World of Warcraft edition do not appear in the G Hub software for other Yeti microphones – however these effects are all made with standard sliders, so nothing is truly lost.

Far more exciting is that someone has made a RoboCop preset, and it is available right now.

Your move, creep.

Blue VO!CE is available via the Logitech G HUB Software. Fans can find more information at www.bluemic.com
