Of All The Things I Can’t Afford, The Overwatch 2 Junker Queen Statue Hurts Most

I had nowhere to put it anyway…

I am a sucker for a statue. Admittedly, I do not go too deep on such a hobby – it is a costly kind of thing to collect, both financially and in the realm of space to display such things. When a statue collector’s piece is done well, it feels like an artists work getting manifested into the physical realm.

So seeing one of the coolest Aussie characters in Overwatch 2 get a physical representation ignites that dangerous passion of mine – and then I see the price.

The statue stands at a whopping 16.25 inches (41.2 centimetres) tall, with a base chock-full of apocalyptic Aussie detail.

And it is selling for the low, low price of $1,000.00 US Dollars. That is (at the time of writing this) around $1,540.48 Aussie dingo dollars.

Holy dooley. What a cracker of a price. I have had to rip my eyes away from the Blizzard Store Page just to stop myself drinking in all the extra detail I keep noticing. The transparent elements that represent crackling electricity? The entire omnic-dude on the base trying to escape? A Junkrat rip-tyre?

No. It’s too expensive for me. A premium piece with a premium price. Godspeed to that upper-tier of legends that can afford this beauty – but for me? Just window shopping.

What do you think of this crazy statue? Too expensive, or worth every statuesque cent? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
