TeamKill Media has announced that its upcoming cosmic horror shooter Quantum Error has gone gold for PS5 and the game’s release date will be announced next week.

The studio also announced that the game will have a physical edition, with the unnamed publisher confirming that the physical stock will hit retailers (maybe not Australia, we’ll have to wait and see) the same day the digital version.

Quantum Error is set in a research facility 30 miles off the shore of California, where a large-scale fire has broken out. Firefighters Captain Jacob Thomas and Shane Costa are sent in to rescue as many people as possible, but what they find on arrival is not what they expect, and now they must fight to stay alive.
Although the game is initially launching for PS5, TeamKill Media has confirmed that the game will come to Xbox Series X|S and PC at some stage. The PS4 version of the game was recently cancelled due to hardware limitations.
