Redfall Gets A May Release Date Alongside New Gameplay Footage

Fangin’ for it

Arkane Studios has announced that the upcoming co-op FPS, Redfall, will release on Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as on Xbox Game Pass, on May 2.

Revealed during this morning’s Xbox & Bethesda Developer Direct, we also got a 10-minute gameplay deep dive that highlights the game’s open world, multiple playable characters and co-op gameplay. Showing snippets from multiple missions, we see the player using mystical abilities to turn invisible and launch high into the air. Other characters are seen using tech to distract enemies and teleport across the map.

We get examples of both single and multiplayer gameplay and a glimpse at the game’s RPG elements, such as skill trees and tiered loot. We also get a brief look at the weapon customisation that will be on offer to help players cater their gear to best deal with the bitey baddies.
