Coming in with a strong follow-up to Microsoft E3’s opener, Starfield, GSC has shown off its world gameplay premiere of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl.
The trailer footage takes place from the first-person perspective of the protagonist, with a band of stalkers trading stories around the campfire – obligatory acoustic guitar in tow.
What follows is a gameplay heavy-sizzle reel that introduces us to the expansive, dense new rendition of the Chernobyl’s zone after multiple nuclear events.
Savage mutants, dangerous spatial anomalies, and authentic accents all feature – with the addition of new electric charged weapons.
Rounding out the trailer, the release date is revealed to be April 28, 2022, and will be available on PC, Xbox Series S/X and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Playable day one on Xbox Game Pass.
