Screenshots Of The Jet Set Radio Remake Seemingly Leak Online

A classic may well be making a comeback

For those of us deeply familiar with The Concept of Love, pining for some Jet Set Radio flavour is nothing new. But a taste may have been found by way of some curious screenshots that have appeared online.

A set of four screenshots seem to show off an early in-development version of the game, with a cursory look at an in-game map, environments and the all important art style. According to the people sharing these items, the build dates back to 2021 – so it’s far from a comprehensive glance.

There is currently no clear indication of how authentic these screenshots may be – it is an unaffiliated party sharing them, with no copyright claim or takedown requests from the big names involved, so it could well be an elaborate hoax. People were at least considering it to be a pretty epic prank …until leaked dev build FOOTAGE appeared:

So fans of the dormant series are eating well – from quiet rumours and tidbits suggesting that SEGA was looking in to the series, to seeing it in motion.

Now everyone can cross their fingers and hope for either an official announcement, or takedown request – both are signs of life for a project. Perhaps we can start hoping for a Crazy Taxi remake or reboot as well?

What do you think of the Jet Set Radio leaks? Does it have you ready to grind? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
