Silent Hill: The Short Message Has Been Rated In Korea

Hopefully a reveal isn’t far away

Fans of Silent Hill have been clamouring for a new entry in the popular horror series for years, and while plenty of rumours have been swirling, there’s been no official announcement as of yet. Hopefully that’s about to change, with Silent Hill: The Short Message being rated by the Korean Ratings Board as reported by Gematsu earlier today.

The listing doesn’t give away much – there’s no mention of platforms or release date, and the only information that can be gleaned is that the project’s publisher is UNIANA, a company that regularly publishes Konami titles in Korea according to Getmasu.

The internet has been full of speculation since the news broke, with known leaker DuskGolem suggesting that it could be either Sakura (which is a supposed playable concept) or “something akin to Silent Hill: The Experience.

Regardless, it’s exciting to see Silent Hill’s name pop up in this capacity and fingers crossed a reveal isn’t too far away.
