It’s Grand Final Friday in Australia’s most liveable city, also known as the sporting capital of the world, or commonly referred to as Melbourne.
The stakes have never been higher, except for this time last year when premiership-starved underdogs the Western Bulldogs gave their long-suffering supporters something to bark about after defeating the COLA-powered Sydney Swans.
This year another long-suffering supporter base could end its premiership drought as the Richmond Tigers tackle the minor premiers and hot favourites the Adelaide Crows in all-out Aussie Rules warfare on Saturday afternoon at the MCG in their quest for Australia’s holy grail.
We thought, what better way to celebrate Grand Final Friday than to simulate the big dance using AFL Evolution. So we did. Using the final teams announced last night, we put the game’s AI in a winner-takes-all battle between 44 modern-day gladiators and two masterful tacticians.

Who will find themselves on the right side of history after ten video game minutes of intense war? Will Dusty deliver a don’t argue to the Crows and give the Richmond faithful what they truly crave? Or will Sloane, Betts and Tex Walker prove too strong for the Tigers?
Please ignore the fact that in the video Dennis says it’s on a Sunday and Richo says it’s Dream Time at the G. Both have been caught up the wave of hype surrounding the GF.
Game on:
Who are you hoping takes home premiership glory this Saturday?
