Earlier today I went hands-on with CI Games’ upcoming open-world sharpshooter title, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, and caught up with the game’s Senior Level Designer, Tomasz Pruski.
While an in-depth preview is still a few days off, whilst having a chat about the game I enquired about the game’s multiplayer modes and its secret third – unannounced mode. Pruski revealed that unfortunately, the game’s multiplayer modes will not be available on launch (now currently April 25th), because CI Games are currently focusing all their attention on the single-player campaign. Not only that, but Pruski expressed that the team at CI Games don’t want to tack on multiplayer for the sake of having multiplayer.
Pruski did say that they are aiming to have the multiplayer, which will be a free update, available around 2-3 months after the game’s initial launch. Currently, SGW3 will include Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch modes, while the third mode remains a secret.
To tie you over until the preview is published, here is a picture of Big Tommy and yours truly (yes I am short):
