United Label and Odd Bug Studio have announced that a new free update has dropped for its Soulslike game Tails of Iron.
Titled Bright Fir Forest, the new expansion brings 13 new quests (four story quests and nine side quests), 14 new bosses, 96 new weapon and armour items to the game, three new challenges for the Mole Arena, as well as new music and trophies/achievements.
Bright Fir Forest is set after the events of the main campaign and sees Rat King Redgi invited to celebrate the Festival of Leaf Fall with the squirrels. However, the festivities are cut short when a new adversary crashes the party.
Tails of Iron first released in 2021 and was one of our favourite games of the year. I particularly loved my time defending the rat kingdom, scoring it a 9.5 in our Tails of Iron review.
If you’re looking to score a copy of Tails of Iron, Steam has the best deal at $7.99, while the Xbox Store has it on sale at $9.36. The PlayStation Store is asking for $30.95, which is still a great price given it also includes the previous Bloody Whiskers expansion, but it’s certainly not as attractive as the sale prices.
