Developer Endnight Games has announced that Sons of the Forest has been delayed and will now release on February 23, 2023.
This isn’t the first time the follow-up to 2014’s The Forest has been pushed back, with the game initially slated for a March 2022 release before being moved to October 2022 and now finally resting on a February 2023 launch. A Tweet from the developer states that the survival horror title has been delayed “due to the scope of the new game,” which does look to expand on almost all aspects of the original game.
The Tweet also mentions that the game will be available on Steam for $29.99USD, which shakes out to be around AU$45.
