After a successful beta recently, Mortal Shell, the Souls-like game from developer Cold Symmetry, finally has a release date, with the game’s publisher Playstack announcing that it will hit PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Epic Games Store) on August 18.
Mortal Shell is an RPG where the world is just as unforgiving as those that inhabit it, and players will be pushed to their limit as they fight for survival and to discover their true self.
While it won’t be on the same scale as a Dark Souls release, it’s a labour of love from a small team and one that fans of Souls game should check out. You can view the game’s release date trailer below:
