Compulsion Games has announced that its action-adventure title, South of Midnight, will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 8.
One of the four games included during this morning’s Xbox Developer Direct, developer Compulsion Games was given time to pull back further the curtain on its Southern Gothic action-adventure title that was initially announced back in 2023. Thanks to its inclusion in the Developer Direct, we now know more about the story behind this eye-catching title.
Living in Prospero, protagonist Hazel is caught in the middle of a hurricane that rips through her home, thrusting her into a land where creatures of folklore walk and talk. The trailer also gives us a look at the magic-infused combat and the mysterious foes that stand in Hazel’s way.
