Thunder Lotus, developer and publisher of Spiritfarer, announced today that their heartfelt and poignant indie has surpassed 500,000 sales worldwide. This milestone coincides with the first of three free updates planned for this year.
The Lily Update sees the protagonist Stella’s memories bloom as wonderous blossoms over her cabin. The butterflies within these flowers create new spirit friends that reveal an important person and adds even more depth to the story. The next update will bring some bug fixes and improvements to local co-op gameplay. These sale numbers makes Spiritfarer the most popular title for this studio. Plus, this update was based on fan feedback of wanting to learn more about Stella. Don’t you just love it when Dev’s listen!
