During a Nintendo Indie World presentation last December, we found out that the popular Golf Story was getting a sequel. The announcement trailer for Sports Story gave us a glimpse into the sequel where not only would you play golf but also a myriad of other sports, as well as a tentative release window of mid-2020.
After seemingly missing that release window, the developers of Sports Story, Sidebar Games, have posted an update video (or rather a delay trailer as they call it) that features Coach from the first game providing an apology for the delay of the game.
We've prepared a Sports Story update video to shed some more light on the situation. ⚽️🏏🎾⛳️📺 pic.twitter.com/FpGPVyFhD3

No new release window was announced, but personally I’m happy for the team to take the time needed to finish up this game to their standards.
Zachary is a console gamer at heart, but is slowly coming over to the PC side. Rhythm games like Project Diva and Groove Coaster are his comfort food, but is happy to dive into any genre if it looks enticing enough. His favourite game of all time is Portal 2 despite his struggle with modern puzzle games.
