SteelSeries Just Announced New Mousepads That Are Bigger Than My Insecurities

I told you size matters

Have you been looking for the perfect way to cover up all scratches and scuffs on your desk? SteelSeries has you (and your desk) covered with their massive new lineup of mousepads. Dubbed the Desktop QcK Range, the peripheral vendor has created three new mousepads; 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. They all come with a Prism variant, which features lighting around the edges of the mousepad. The sizings are as follows:

  • 3XL – 1220 x 610 mm
  • 4XL – 1220 x 762 mm
  • 5XL – 1600 x 800 mm

On the outset, this may all seem a little ridiculous but large mousepads like this are quite beneficial, especially for low DPI/low sensitivity gaming.

Unfortunately, this isn’t all good news. The 4XL and 5XL mousepads are only available via SteelSeries.com and the 3XL will be easily available in Australia and New Zealand. Those of you who wanted to use the 5XL to roll up some of the kills you got in Warzone may have to wait a while for shipping. The QcK 3XL will be A$97 and the QcK 3XL Prism will be A$209.

As of right now, the only release information we have is just that they will be released “soon”. Still, this is pretty cool. I was going to get a bright pink Sailor Moon mousepad in a slightly smaller size but this may very well be a better, less obnoxious option.
