SteelSeries’ New Mini Keyboards Are Adorable

With small size comes small responsibility

Small form factor keyboard are my friggin’ jam! It’s so cool how such functionality is packed into such a small package not true to life, sadly and it allows for so much extra desk space. SteelSeries has added to the mix with their newly announced Apex Mini and Apex Mini Wireless keyboards. Boasting the 60% form factor, which is smaller than the traditional tenkeyless form factor, and makes use of SteelSeries’ OmniPoint 2.0. This revision of SteelSeries’ mechanical switch claims improvements of up to 11x in response time, 10x faster actuation, and a 2x increase in durability.

The Apex Mini Wireless also features the their Quantum 2.0 Wireless technology, which aims to provide lag-free wireless inputs as well as dual connectivity between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. No word on battery-life but it’s hard to imagine it would be bad considering how much these technologies have improved over the years.

The Apex Mini and Apex Mini Wireless are A$399 and A$499, respectively, and should be avaialble at major retailers soon.

Do you like small form factor keyboards? Will you pick one of these up? Let us know in the comment or on social media.
