It’s far from game over for the Alien franchise, nor the constant drop of content in Dead by Daylight, as both have crossed paths today in the newly released Dead by Daylight: Alien DLC pack.
Players will be able to traverse the brand new map based on a crashed and deeply twisted version of the USCSS Nostromo, taking on the role of either fabled hero Ellen Ripley as a survivor or the monster itself, the Xenomorph, on the killer side.
There’s a healthy slew of references to the Alien franchise across the update, be it iconic cosmetics for both characters such as the Xenomorph Queen or Ripley’s slick look from Alien: Resurrection, to various abilities including the Xenomorph’s Crawler Mode to quickly traverse the landscape. Oh, and for those of you curious, the Ripley model unfortunately does not look at all like superstar actress Sigourney Weaver, but Jonesy the cat does make a cameo appearance.
