The BenQ Zowie Extremesland CS:GO ANZ Qualifiers Are Back

Registrations now open!

Time to lock and load as the BenQ Zowie Extremesland CS:GO ANZ Qualifiers are back for 2018.

The qualifiers will consist of both open and closed online components and will be played on the Instafrag Oceania platform powered by FaceIT servers. Registrations are now live up until the first qualifier commences August 18th 2018.

Iain “SnypeR” Turner from Instafrag Oceania weighed in:

Our partnership with BenQ Zowie Extremesland 2018 ANZ Qualifiers was a natural progression following the incredible response we’ve had from our user base since launching earlier this year. It gives the wider audience an opportunity to experience our platform as a part of a world class tournament.

To help support users during the tournament, Instafrag Oceania is offering a one month free subscription to all players who register and play in the open qualifiers. The closed qualifiers (25th & 26th of August) will consist of four invited teams; Grayhound Gaming, Chiefs Esports Club, Order Army and Tainted Minds, who will be joined by the four teams who progress through the open qualifiers.

The final two teams from the closed qualifier will be flown to Sydney to take part in a best of five finals series (Saturday the 8th of September) at Bankstown Sports Club Sydney. The FREE (to attend) live event will include talks with pro-players and talent, along with activations from BenQ Zowie premium resellers JW Computers, Mwave and Authorised Distributor Dicker Data. The live finals event will also have a strong focus on supporting fellow members of the community by proudly supporting ‘R U OK?’.

Danny Kim @ BenQ Zowie Australia said “It’s all about the community this year; the platform, the finals, the venue and the ‘R U OK?’ initiative”

Esports has always been about the community and looking out for each other, not just a group of gamers but so much more. This finals event will focus on exactly what that is.

The winner of the finals will receive an all expenses paid trip to represent the region at the EXTREMESLAND Finals held in Shanghai and compete for their share of the $100,000USD prize-pool (18th – 21st October 2018).

Instafrag Oceania will also be providing one month free subscriptions to their platform to all attendees of the BenQ Zowie Extremesland CS:GO ANZ Qualifier Finals at Bankstown Sports Club Sydney. To experience the BenQ Zowie product range during the qualifiers, FBI Gaming Centres will be offering FREE “BenQ Zowie Experience Hours” at the new ‘BenQ Zowie Experience Zone’ located at their Sydney City Venue; 1 Dixon Street, Sydney 2000.
